Founded in 1951, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is the specialty's premier professional membership organization dedicated to the improvement of women’s health and the professional and socioeconomic interests of its members through continuing medical education, practice, research, and advocacy.

ACOG represents obstetricians and gynecologists and providers of women’s health care in an effort to continuously improve health care for women through practice and research, lead advocacy for women’s health care issues nationally and internationally, and provide excellent organizational support and services for our members.

Fellows of ACOG are board certified ob-gyns whose professional activities are devoted to the practice of obstetrics and/or gynecology, who possess unrestricted licenses to practice medicine, and have attained high ethical and professional standing.

Payment
