The National Register credentials licensed psychologists, promotes credentialed psychologists to consumer, provides distinction and value to its registrants, guides psychology students towards credentialing, and enhances psychologists’ contributions to integrated health care.

A Health Service Provider in Psychology is a licensed/certified psychologist, at the independent practice level in his/her state, province or country, who is trained and experienced in the delivery of preventive, consultative, assessment and therapeutic services.
